The first release of our 'SPRLUA Remix Series', an offshoot of our Magnum Dopus album. If you liked eBOY, but wished it were a bit less busy, Lorenzo BITW has just the cure.

Lorenzo BITW is a Rome-based Italian producer and DJ. He's best known for his experimental approach to music, particularly in regards to bridging the gap between club bangers and beautiful compositions. He has collaborated on projects with Nervous Horizon, Ryan Hemsworth’s label Secret Songs, Future Bounce, and Friends of Friends (an LA-based record label). His production vision allows him to seamlessly switch between genres, blending his club beats with a more cinematic feel. After a few years of touring in Leeds and London, Lorenzo returned to Rome, Prati neighbourhood. Since then, he's taken on a more mature evolution as he leans into inspiration from the city itself.

'SPRLUA Remix Series', the songs from our recent first album Magnum Dopus are reordered into a new work that's familiar, but has a different sound. The busy production is traded for stripped-down versions with simpler structures.

Magnum Dopus was released on March 25th, 2022 and in a review, DJ, promoter, and journalist Joe Muggs says the album is a "wonderful demonstration of the breadth of modern African-diasporic electronic rhythms…the music flows into some gorgeously sophisticated song structures and lush textures."
